Are you interested in spotting wildlife that’s not traditionally found in your area? Let’s read about 3 animals you will find on a Caribbean vacation.

#1 Animal To Spot on a caribbean vacation: stingrays
The number one animal to look for on a Caribbean vacation is a stingray. These little guys love hanging out deep in the sea and on shore. They traditionally rest near the shore by burrowing under the sand and are harmless. However, they have a stinger on the tip of their tail which is why they can get a bad reputation. Although, they may not intend to harm you, be on the lookout while enjoying the blue waters. Take a look at the shore before stepping in. One or two may be hiding under the sand. You do not want to step on one by mistake. Neither party will be happy!
#2 Animal to spot on a caribbean vacation: crab
The second animal to look for on a Caribbean vacation is a crab. These fellas come in all shapes and sizes. They enjoy hanging around shores like stingrays. However, crab can be both in the shore water and on dry land. Sometimes they’ll hide under rocks. Ready to go on a crab hunt? Grab a friend and see how many you can find. Remember, wear your shoes because crab can give you a pinch!
#3 animal: dolphins
Last but not least, dolphins are the third animal to look for while on a Caribbean vacation. Dolphins are known for their intelligence and beauty while seen in the ocean. No, dolphins do not relax near the shore like stingrays and crab. So, it takes more work to find them. In order to spot a dolphin, you need to sail deeper into the ocean. Many people find them while on a cruise since the waters are traditionally calmer further out and this is where the creatures are most comfortable. However, there may be excursions offered with your resort stay. This will give you opportunities to observe dolphins in their natural habitat or even engage with them.
